ABOUT THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The protection of personal data is one of the most important priorities of ZES DIJITAL TICARET A.S. acting in the capacity of data controller (the “Company” or “ZES”) pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law number 6698 (the “Law”)

In line with this Information Text, it is aimed to provide the necessary transparency pursuant to the Law by clarifying you about the personal data processed by our Company including ZES website or ZES mobile application.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Your personal data described below in detail are processed on the basis of the basic principles set out in the Article 4 of the Law during you make use of the products and services which our Company offers.

PROCESSING OF YORUR PERSONAL DATA IN LINE WITH YOUR EXPRESS CONSENT

Marketing Activities

In order for the processing of personal data for certain purposes under the Law, the explicit consent of the data owner must be obtained in advance. Acting in line with the personal data processing conditions set out by the Law, our Company can only transfer your personal data upon your consent for the following personal data processing purposes and with the following persons:

Third party suppliers providing services to the Company, for suggesting our products and services to you by customizing them based on your tastes, usage habits and needs; conducting analysing, segmentation or targeting studies; presenting customised product or service offers specific to you, making new product announcements, announcing campaigns and promotions and other marketing activities; conducting surveys and customer satisfaction measurement studies; and communicating with you by electronic means for the same purposes.

Processing of Location Data

In the event that you have given consent for processing of your location data over ZES Mobile application, your instant location information is processed for the purpose of enabling you to view the closest electrical vehicle charging station on the map to be opened. Your location is not saved and pursued in any system. It is instantly displayed only by your location.

You are entitled to cancel the access of ZES Mobile application to your location services at any time. The related cancellation process may be performed from the tab pertaining to the access to location services in the application settings of your phone.

Mobile Application Notifications

If you give approval for notifications over ZES Mobile application, you will start to receive notifications over your device on which ZES Mobile application is downloaded for the purpose of receiving notification about charging processes, account status, payment status of processes, developments and current campaigns about ZES station network. You are entitled to close receiving notifications at any time. You can close receiving notification from the tab relating with notifications in the application settings of your phone.

METHOD AND LEGAL BASIS OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data are collected by means of ZES Mobile Application, Call Centre, WhatsApp, ChatBot, E-mail and Social Media in line with the foregoing legal reasons within the scope of the fulfilment of the purposes set out under the first heading of this Information Text.

PARTIES TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE TRANSFERRED

Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties in line with the specified purposes in compliance with the conditions set out in the article of the Law pertaining to the transfer of personal data.

To request related information if your personal data has been processed,
To learn about the purpose of processing of your personal data and whether your personal data has been exactly used for the intended purposes,
To learn the third persons to whom your personal data has been transferred locally or internationally,
To request correction, if your personal data has been processed deficiently or wrongly,
To request the deletion or destruction of your personal within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law,
To request the notification of third persons to whom personal data was transferred about the related correction of your personal data processed deficiently or wrongly,
To request the notification of third persons to whom personal data was transferred about the related deletion or destruction of your personal data,
To object to the occurrence of a result against you through the analysing of the data processed solely through automated systems,
To demand the compensation of your damages resulting from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
